What is SPAcash API?
It is a WesService REST that provides you with all the necessary information for you to develop a website just like our own, using any scripting language that supports handling of any of the formats supported by our API.
REST architecture is nothing but a simple web interface that uses XML and HTTP to dump resources, therefore, a WebService REST is a web service that has the great advantage of not requiring any type of program download to access the resources (unlike the SOAP protocol). These API resources are accessed by simple HTTP invocations.

How is it used?
Using SPAcash API is as simple as making an HTTP invocation to the WebService and parsing the reply for the invocation.
Implementing the API is really easy. Just by looking at the code used by our White Brand 2.0 will give you a clearer understanding of how it works, but if you still have doubts, we can provide you with some libraries we have already implemented, so you can get the arrays directly and worry about nothing but the logic of the scrip you’ll use on your sites .
What is it for?
The new Content API allows for experienced, and not so experienced webmasters, to do without our sites, and set-up their own content sites with fully-customized designs and logic, right from their own hosting servers. .
We base all our new tools and developments in the premise that webmasters must have complete control over what they want to offer and sell. Therefore, our API is the best alternative to reach those goals, which are the foundation of the new concepts SPAcash has introduced this year.
How do I access the API?
The first version of this WebService is available at:

Functionality and Stability:
SPAcash API is fully optimized as far as code and functioning is concerned, to obtain much better response speeds than any other tool or resource we’ve launched previously. To assure this level of performance, we’ve designed several rules which protect the system from ill-intentioned users. For your own peace of mind, you must make sure your sites comply with these rules, so you don’t have problems or errors in the future.
How to update to future versions?
The current implementation of the API has been thought out to allow future new versions of the protocol with more features and/or information. That’s why we’ve placed this first version within the “/content/v1/” directory, which will allow the v1 to coexist with future versions of the same API . As soon as a new version of this API is announced, webmasters will be able, if they wish to do so, to make the transition by adapting the URL of your invocations, and making the necessary changes on a “path” level.
Which are the reply formats?
Our Content API has been designed according to the latest data transfer technologies for web platforms. The objective is that any webmaster can access them programming-wise, without having to implement new technologies and without having to learn new programming languages.
SPAcash’ philosophy has always been to adapt our resources to the webmaster’s needs, and not for the webmasters to adapt to our resources. That’s why SPAcash API has been developed to support 3 different ways of encoding the information, which are also the most used by our affiliates: (XML, JSON, and serialized PHP) .
Following this line of thought, the API foresees the possibility of easily adding new formats without compatibility issues.
Basic API structure: :
Sticking with the REST philosophy, we’ve designed a scheme of URI’s in order to easily access all the information for SPAcash’s contents.
This scheme, which we’ve named Namespaces, provides an organized information structure which allows for the easy understanding of its behavior .
Namespaces:
The generic URL to invoke the resource has the following structure:
http://domain/apitype/apiversion/type/subtype/[id.....]?paramlist
URL components:
•domain: It is the domain we use to access the API. In our case, it will be the fixed domain “api.spacash.com”.
•apitype: It is the type of information returned by the API. We are planning to launch future versions of the API with other types of information, but right now, we’re focusing on content so its value will be “content”.
•apiversion: As we explained earlier, there will be successive versions of the API and the version is specified in the invocation URL as “v#”.
Right now, the only available version is the first version so this parameter will be “v1”.
The three parameters we just explained make up the fixed part of the URL. The rest of the parameters will take variable values according to the need and the type of content to be accessed.
The API delivers two types of resources: item type or list type.
item type resources provide information that’s specific and related to each item (dvd, scene, model, etc).
List type resources are just a collection or list of items.
•type: indicated the type of content to be accessed. Its possible values are: movies, cams and dating. .
•subtype: indicates the sub-type of content to be accessed. Depending on the “type” selected, there will be different corresponding subtypes.
For example, if the selected “type” is “movies”, the following “subtypes” will be available: dvds, scenes, models, tags.
•id: It identifies the requested item. Generally used from a list of items.
•paramlist: It specifies a list of parameters and values used to modify the results returned from the API.

We’ve improved the header for the All Premium Pass promo. It now offers a vertical carrousel with different trailers that can be played-back in the flash player, and a new horizontal carrousel which shows the logos for all the sites that can be accessed with the single pass to this promo.

We’ve implemented a new parameter at the request of some webmasters, which launches the payment lightbox when the user clicks on a scene in any 9Buck, Premium, or Adult DVD program 2.0 Tour. This prevents the user from viewing the trailer for the scene.
This is a more “in your face” way of pushing the sale since no type content is offered for free on the sites. It is similar to the already functional “join=1” parameter, but for scenes in the sites.
To enable this option, all you have to do is add the “tube=no” parameter to the linking code. You’ll soon be able to set it automatically from the “Advanced Options” for SPAcash’s tools.

We’ve added an innovative profile search system for Adult Meeter.
Using the latitude and longitude of each city, the system uses trigonometric formulas to calculate the existing distance according to a specific radius and the location in the globe specified in the browser.
You can set the radius from anywhere between 100 to 900 miles, allowing you to search for people from cities within the specified radius.
For example, we can search for all the girls within a 300-mile radius of California, MO, by selecting California as the reference city and setting the radius for 300 miles.
This new profile search engine will make it very easy for users to find people according to their preferences, with great geographical precision, therefore improving interaction between them.

“offer” parameter: it gives the webmaster the option to show one, two or no offers in the secure page.

Improvements in DVD Store skins

We’ve added some improvements to optimize the designs within DVD Store and DVD Boys
- A new way of showing contents and trials has been implemented in our Home page. We believe this improved design will be more eye-catching for the user.
- Users may now skip the intro Trailer, which they couldn’t do before.
- Video search results have been improved too! Now, they display 25 related videos as opposed to the 4 that were displayed previously.
- Various minor improvements have been made to the sites and several bugs that were reported have been corrected.
- We are currently implementing a new flash video player which is already functional in some of the sites. This new player runs better and will allow us to add new advertising options to it in the near future.

Collective relevance implementation for SPAcash video

We know the best feedback we can get on our contents, is the collective feedback the users themselves give us. If they could give us that information, we could optimize sales by focusing on displaying the best content. That’s why we’ve implemented a new “Thumb up/ Thumb down” rating system in which the user can tell us whether he liked or disliked each single video within each section.
This system is becoming more and more popular throughout the web since it tends to make for more relevant results. Widely used 1-5 or 1-10 scale rating systems have been proved to give a wide margin of error in the final relevance since they are subject to the subjectivity with which each user judges the different values within the scale. A “6” rating may not be the same for all users. In this system, the options are precise.
Every SPAcash Video 2.0 user now has this option available. As each user votes on the videos, the contents will be classified in real-time, allowing for the visitors who enter the site after them, to get the best results.
From now on, this is the default criteria by which the contents are ordered in all the 2.0 Tours. The user can quickly change it to show the “Latest updates”. The trailers that are automatically displayed on the top of each site will also be arranged this way, to maximize the effectiveness of the content that is offered.
New sales notification system in real time

We've recently implemented a new sales notification system for SPAcash. From now on, each time you make a sale either by credit card (trial, suscription or rebill), sms or phone billing it will be shown at the bottom of any SPAcash window you may have open.
To make it more useful, each time you make a sale the notification will be accompanied of sound too. In this way you may leave SPAcash windows minimized while navigating or doing other things and you'll listen every time you make a new sale.
Over time, we'll add this new feature to other system applications as well.
500% increase in Flash video conversion (members)

As you already know, we have been in the process of converting all the streaming content inside the Members area from Windows Media to FLV.
Up to now, the conversion rate was of between 100 and 120 videos a day. As of today we have improved the conversion sequence to process over 550 videos every day.
With this new rate, we estimate that 100% of the content should be available for Flash streaming in about 20 days.
Users will still be able to choose the Windows Media option as an alternative since it will not be removed from the Members area, but since most users today prefer the Flash streaming option, it will be offered by default.
New descriptions for Flash videos and hosted galleries.

We’ve began adding new text descriptions for our Flash videos and hosted galleries.
This process has been taken up again after the release of the new SPAcash, and from now on, we’ll be adding new descriptions with every flash video and gallery that’s added to one of the sites as part of the daily updates.
Descriptions in different lengths will still be offered as we had done before for this kind of tool.
Cookies that save the webmaster id now last for a year

We wish to inform you that we have modified the expiration times for all the cookies that save preferences and webmaster information in every SPAcash site, to a year.
Up until now these lasted anywhere between 1 and 14 days, depending on the site.
With this change, the accounts of the users who have already accessed one of the sites will be saved for much longer, increasing the chances of making a sale.

Welcome to the new SPAcash 2009. Today is the beginning of a new era, a new way of working and thinking. From now on, we leave aside the old promotion concepts which were becoming less profitable to work toward innovation, making the best out of the web and its technologies. This will be the new role of SPAcash.
In this new version we have focused on three key aspects of SPAcash: Videos, Dating and Webcams. Each of the three business lines have been upgraded to a new standard, offering users an easier and faster way to suit their needs.
The sponsor identity has changed. We've rearranged all the sections layout. All tools were kept, but we reorganize them in a more convenient way for our members. You'll also discover small but cool improvements for some of our tools as you use them.
Video
All video sites are now grouped under this new name. Each one of them features a new web 2.0 tube-style promotion concept. We've integrated tag clouds to find content easily, spotlight on AJAX for quick searches in real time and we offer an important part of our videos in Flash format.
Dating
Adult Meeter has been incorporating new improvements every day. We recently change its look and feel, making the site more appealing and effective. We keep working on new features that will make of Adult Meeter a more profitable site for affiliates and very reliable for our users. Since its launch, Adult Meeter has quickly positioned itself as a serious adult community, where thousands of users register daily.
Webcams
We've created a new concept for Webcams with a more simple and navigable image, including tag clouds and spotlight for model quick searches. In the coming days we'll have over 10,000 rooms available, with more than 300 rooms always online broadcasting directly from their houses in multiple languages. This change is done automatically on the new site.
This new proposal in addition to increasing profitability in today's markets, will allow webmasters to break into new markets such as English, French, German, Italian, Portuguese and Turkish, increasing sales opportunities.

We have recently launched a new Adult Meeter release which includes a new XMPP-based (jabber) ajax chat which is guaranteed to improve the interaction between users.
We have also made some improvements in the signup process which makes it easier for new users to register. We have seen the results lately with the number of registered users and the number of paid conversion doubling.
During the next few days, and before we enter the new version for Adult Meeter, we’ll be focusing on further improving the signup and the conversion to get even better ratios.
This new chat (the killer feature of the month which we´ve been working on for some time), allows for our users to send each other instant messages directly and through the site, much like other known Messenger clients. It has quick contact search options, automatic notifications when a contact is online, it receives messages from other users as well as the possibility to minimize the chat window and keep surfing the site while maintaining a conversation.
We believe to have developed one of the best ajax-based chat services, it being more complete than other similar services, for example, the one offered by Facebook.
Adult Meter navigation is now based on AJAX which greatly improves response times. We have solved the “back button” problem that AJAX websites usually have, allowing users to go back and forth from the explorer as if they were independent pages.
Drag & Drop system to manage contacts
Another innovative aspect of the new version is the concept of Groups of Friends. Now you can manage your different groups of friends simply by dragging them and dropping them onto the desired group. Users may set different privileges for each one of their groups of friends as well as configure other aspects.
We’ll continue to work on new features which we’ll be launching every month in Adult Meter. We have the next 5 months of changes and implementations planned out to ensure that the users will have a dating system that’s 100% designed for them, simple to use, totally transparent and without scams of any kind.

New chargebacks policies

We would like to inform you that starting on June 1st We will begin to transfer the cost of chargebacks to our affiliates accounts. The reason of this, as you would probably know, is that chargebacks are reimbursements of sales that were not really made, caused mostly by fraudulent actions as stolen credit card numbers, underage surfers etc.
This chargebacks will be deducted from the affiliates total sales earnings when the online processor applies the discount regarding the amount chargebacks generated each month.
Starting on June 1st every chargeback that the online processor discounts from Your sales will be transferred to each WM account.
The details as well as the reasons of each chargeback are going to be displayed on the stats section also a link is going to be available showing details as date, country, sale type, amount etc. This ensures a 100% transparent and sincere relationship with all of our affiliates.
To be more specific in terms of numbers we estimate that the amount of chargebacks each month it's going to be around 2% or 3% of the credit card sales.
At last but not least, all the money raised with these discounts is going to be invested on high quality content for all our affiliates, as well as creating more competitive products for all our affiliates.
We are strongly convinced that this will end up benefiting all the webmasters but mostly those who offer a more competitive and transparent product.

We’ve added a new criterium for ordering scenes inside the Tour 1s for the Premium Promos, which will undoubtedly better ratios for these scenes.
This new function will order scenes based on CTR (click-through-rate), in a descending order, which means that the scene with the best CTR will be displayed first while the one with the worst CTR will be displayed last. The CTR will be updated every 24 hours, taking into consideration the CTR values registered during the previous four days.
This is the new menu that allows for the user to change the viewing criteria, as it will be displayed in the promos:
“Home” loads by default and displays the scenes ordered by CTR, then we have “Latest Updates" which displays scenes ordered by publishing date (this order was always displayed by default). The other are the well known by all option which allow the user to enter the members area, displaying the lightbox, adding favorites, and moving through the pages.
This new option for listing the Premium scenes is sure to help the affiliate show the end-users the scenes they, themselves, have chosen to download, thus increasing the chances of a sale.

The system will periodically let you know when your password has expired, asking you to designate a new one, always different from the last one used.
This process is part of a series of precautionary measures to give our clients the peace o f mind of knowing that they are working with a company who cares about their needs.
We remind you that the purpose is to avoid account theft, so we ask you please, not to use passwords that are easy to guess or the same one you use for your email account.

We’re proud to inform you that we’re keeping up with our goal to make SPACash better and more efficient every day. Now, we’ve implemented a Content Delivery Network (CDN) system using Level 3 lines.
Important companies such as the ones shown on the following image are already using this technology and SPACash in now one of the first adult affiliate programs to implement it. From now on, no more slow downloads from the member’s section since it will no longer matter where in the world the user is.
Basically, a CDN consists of a series of cache servers working under the original server, in such a way that the clients can’t tell one from the others, comprising the aforementioned content delivery network.
This way, pages included in these cache servers will be served faster since they will be drawn from the server that’s geographically closer to the user requesting the url, drastically cutting down request return times, and freeing the original server from thousands of requests which are divided between all the cache servers of the CDN.

We have already incorporated the following systems into the CDN:
- all the videos in the members area for Premium, Classic and 9Buck promos.
- trailers for Premium and Unlimited Pass promos (Tour 1 & 2).

We are currently in the process of incorporating DVDStore videos and FHG templates to the CDN.

This new tool gives you a report for each credit card sale showing the date and time of the sale (server time), the country, the site with the sale, the type of sale (trial, direct subscription, rebill number, offer, etc), the payment program (60/40 or PPS) and the amount of the sale.

From now on, you may see the detailed information for the received SMS. This new option shows a detail for each SMS received, including the first digits of the number from which the SMS were sent, the carrier, the date and time (server time), the country, the code sent (alias or random code), and the income made from each message.
To access this information, you must go to “Micropayment Stats” and select “Breakdown/Details” from the combo in the Breakdown/ Details column. This new option is enabled for all the micropayment reports, as the last option on the Breakdown listmenu.
It is important to make clear that this SMS information started being gathered from September 15th on, so all the messages prior to that date will appear as “unknown” on the report.
Something similar happens with the random codes from the messages. This information started being gathered today so previously received SMS will not show the random code sent by the end user.
We hope that by implementing these tools, we can offer a much more detailed report of the activity for each message received. Likewise, we are starting to develop a similar tool for credit card sales following the same criteria.

We are currently conducting some tests to maximize rentability for all our Premium, Classic and Adult DVD promos. With this purpose, we've implemented a change that affects the kind of trial offered by default in the promos.
From now on, the US$ 1 trial will be offered by default for these sites and it will be valid for 1 day instead of the previous 3-day access.
The free trial option will continue to be available though, from now on, whoever wishes to keep promoting it must modify the linking codes by adding the optr=5 that corresponds to the Free trial, or using the linking codes from the tool, selecting the option to promote the Free Trial in the Advanced Options.
We have discussed this change with several webmasters and have received positive comments on this measure.
We believe these changes will significantly improve conversion ratios and sales in general.

This new feature works even if it is not implemented, which means it is not necessary to modify the linking codes. The sites already come with a tour=best by default. If you do not want to promote a specific tour you can do so my integrating “tour=1” or “tour=2” in your linking code.
This new tool is 100% functional and allows you to see which tour is more profitable in each country and region. For example, maybe in Spain the new tour=2 is converting higher than others, but it is possible that in the USA tour=1 is doing better.

We have remodelled and revamped the entire stats system, focusing primarily on navigation, simplicity and fast load speed. Finding specific stats reports is now quite easy. Not only can you find stats faster, but there is much more information than ever.
Some of our new features include: :
- Eliminated has been the concept of “Generating Reports.” Reports can now be generated at any time straight from the site you are on, allowing simple and quick access to important information.
- New “Advanced Options” link used to filter results when searching for reports
- You can now download the stats reports in CSV format or in a adapted version to print out.
- The “Referring URL” now counts the majority of hits for the first time in four years.
